The war diary records that:
Bailey stores were collected from Imphal
Two 7 ton plant transporters came from Imphal
Engineer stores were sent to 7 Div
IV Corps HQ was located at Kuntang
Bridging stores forwarded to Nungthanyit
Outboard motors were overhauled
Plant was working on the Mintha road between milestones 0 to 7. On Christmas day a party of us, including two QAIMNS nurses jeeped a few miles eastwards and, with an inflatable dinghy had a brief hour or so of relaxation in the river Yu.
On the 30th the company moved to Kalamyo including the 7 ton transporters and 3 Folding Boat Equipment lorries.
The rear party collected stores from Hlezeik, Nungthanyit, Thanan and the Corps dump and despatched them to 12 ESD.
